What was my previous career?
My first career was working as a wildlife and marine biologist and studying elephants, sea turtles, black bears, mountain lions, and other wildlife.
What is my favorite hobby?
My favorite thing to do is sail on our boat, Valhalla, and finding magical places on the Chesapeake Bay.
What is my “happy place”?
The beach is my happiest place!
Any pets?
We have 14 chickens, 2 dogs and a huge garden. I love spending time in the summer canning our vegetables and making homemade pesto.
What is my favorite family activity?
My husband, two teenagers, and I love traveling and finding great places to scuba dive.
Fun fact?
One of my most interesting jobs was working as a Crime Analyst for the Charlottesville Police Department.
